Add the ability for scripts/jobs to execute on boot / login.
It would be good if scripts/jobs could be configured to run each time the device boots or the user logs in.
This is handy to enforce script logic on the device without having to add a recurring script that executes every day.

Monitoring unpatched CVEs
Interesting post by Graham about using the Sofa feed info to track unpatched CVEs in their mac fleet with osquery.

Remove the device name pop-up in the new devices page UI
The device name pop-up in the new devices page UI is intrusive and makes it difficult to open the device in a new tab

Device audit screen? Find duplicates, sort by last seen?
Would love to see an administrative screen that accomplishes a few things:
Lets us quickly identify duplicate entries, e.g. If a device was enrolled, then reset, then enrolled again (deduplicate by serial number) so we can cleanup.
Identify devices that may have gone missing or devices that have been offline for a suspicious amount of time (combination of last-seen and location change data visible at a glance)
Our use case is we want to conduct, e.g. Weekly device audits, and right now going through the listing manually is a pain.

Track Raw Cellular Data Usage on a Per-device basis
While we don't want limits or alerts, we would like to get a monthly tally of how much cellular data each device uses.

Allow custom URL for welcome screen
It would be excellent to allow a custom URL for the "Welcome screen" contents, including providing drop-in HTML for a "start enrollment" button. This way, we could for example redirect to existing EULA agreement pages and pop the user right back to the SimpleMDM workflow.

Restrict access to devices based on tags
Linked in some ways to this request https://suggestions.simplemdm.com/forums/204404-suggestions/suggestions/37168075-add-more-granular-simplemdm-user-roles… (and yes, please more granular permissions!)
Would it be possible to restrict access to devices in MDM based on some kind of tagging?
So I can tag devices as “Kiosk” and grant helpdesk full admin access over those devices, but they won’t be able to see or modify devices tagged “user laptop” for example.
At the moment we achieve this using two separate SimpleMDM tenants, which works - but makes our plans to use auto-assignment of devices from Apple Business manager more challenging…

Allow Admins to Edit Profile PayloadIdentifier Values
With admins having to move profiles to MDM in 10.16, it would be great to be able to edit the Simple created PayloadIdentifier for these profiles to match existing values.
A warning dialog box to explain the issues this may create would be sufficient (and welcome) to help admins know the risks with editing the value.

Don't truncate package name when space is available
Under App & Media → Assignment any packages assigned to a group get their name truncated to 24-ish characters. E.g. "se.chalmers.firstboot-1.4.pkg" gets truncated to "se.chalmers.firstboot-1...." This makes it really hard for us to pick the right package.

Support normal managed_installs order
Please support the normal managed_installs order, e.g. alphabetical order so that one can specify the order that munki managed installs get installed in by naming packages alphabetically.

Managed Application Installation Status
There should be some way in the console (and API) to see the installation status of apps deployed through SimpleMDM, using statuses like "Installed", "Pending", "Error", etc.
Currently, you can see which apps are installed on a device, but there's no way to identify applications that should or will be installed, whether we're waiting for the device to come online, or if there's been an error in the installation process.
In a standalone Munki environment I would could use Sal/MunkiReport as requested in https://suggestions.simplemdm.com/forums/204404-suggestions/suggestions/40754131-integrate-munkireport-or-sal
Alternately, I can also forward the Munki logs in /Library/Managed Installs/Logs to a SEIM like Splunk…
